The parade begins with a traditional float parade at 1 pm that includes pipe and drums corps, marching bands, and additional participants. The parade route winds its way through Downtown Hollywood beginning at Harrison Street and 21st Avenue, continuing north to Hollywood Boulevard, east to Young Circle, and south to westbound on Harrison Street returning to 21st Avenue. Be sure to wear green and prepare to enjoy an exciting day.

The Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival
St. Patrick’s Day festivities will come a wee bit early in Fort Lauderdale as well, with The Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival on Saturday, March 11th. Each year, in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, residents of Ft. Lauderdale and the surrounding areas paint the town green! This event in its 20th year features fun and excitement for the whole family, and is the largest and most anticipated festival in Ft. Lauderdale, attracting thousands of spectators and patrons for a huge celebration of all things Irish. Catch live entertainment, traditional dance, and more.

Head to a Local Pub
Another fun way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is to head out to local pubs from some wonderful Irish cuisine such as Shepard’s Pie, Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, and Corned Beef & Cabbage.
